Q: How do I use Pro on another computer?

Open Already paid? Restore in the popup and sign in with the email address you paid with.

Q: How do I cancel Pro?

Open the popup, and on the Rules tab choose Manage subscription. If you cannot get to it, email us and we will cancel it for you.

What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
The rule (condition, value and color) and the list you were on: Orders, Products or Customers.
Your OrderColor version (at the bottom of the popup’s Help tab) and your Chrome version.

Please never send us your Shopify password or a staff login.

Nothing is being colored?

Check the Color-coding on switch at the top of the Rules tab and the checkbox on each rule.
Make sure the column the rule needs (Tags, Destination, Total and so on) is visible in the list. Add it with Shopify’s column picker if it is not.
Values are compared without regard to capitals, but statuses must match the badge text exactly (“Unfulfilled”, not “open”).
On the free plan, only the first 2 enabled rules run, and only on Orders.
Reload the admin tab after installing or changing plans.
If Shopify changed its page layout, OrderColor stays quiet rather than break the page. An update will follow; the details are logged once in the browser console as [OrderColor].

Common questions

Where are my rules stored?

In Chrome’s extension storage, synced with your Chrome profile if sync is on. They never reach us. On Pro you can also export them as a JSON file.

How do I use Pro on another computer?

Which rule colors a row that matches several?

Rules run top to bottom: the first match sets the color, and each match adds its badge, up to three. Reorder rules with the arrow buttons.

Removing OrderColor

If you have Pro, cancel it first from Manage subscription: removing the extension does not cancel the subscription.
Right-click the OrderColor icon in the Chrome toolbar and choose Remove from Chrome, or open chrome://extensions and click Remove on OrderColor.
Confirm.

What happens to your data: Chrome deletes everything the extension stored, including your rules and ExtensionPay’s records. OrderColor never sent us anything from your admin, so there is nothing for us to delete there. Rule exports you downloaded stay where you saved them. ExtensionPay and Stripe keep their payment records under their own policies, and we keep emails you sent us until your question is handled.
